Developer Agreement

1. Scope of Developer Agreement

This Developer Agreement ("Agreement") applies to all individuals and entities registering a developer account with FlashApps. By registering and accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Developer Account Registration

To register a developer account, you must:

  • •Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • •Provide accurate and complete information
  • •Provide valid contact information and business details
  • •Accept all terms and policies outlined in this agreement
  • •Maintain accurate and current account information

3. API Usage and Rate Limits

As a registered developer, you may be granted access to FlashApps APIs and tools. Usage is subject to:

  • •Rate limits as specified in API documentation
  • •Quota restrictions based on your account tier
  • •Fair usage policies to prevent abuse
  • •Compliance with API documentation and best practices

4. API Keys and Security

You are responsible for:

  • •Keeping your API keys and credentials confidential and secure
  • •Not sharing API keys with unauthorized parties
  • •Immediately notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access
  • •Regularly rotating API keys and passwords
  • •Using secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all API calls

5. Acceptable Use Policy

As a developer, you agree not to:

  • •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to FlashApps systems or APIs
  • •Use our APIs for illegal purposes or violating any laws
  • •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our services
  • •Create applications that spam, harass, abuse, or harm others
  • •Resell or redistribute FlashApps services without permission
  • •Exceed reasonable rate limits or attempt to circumvent quotas

6. Application Publishing

If you publish applications built using FlashApps services:

  • •Your application must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • •You must include appropriate privacy policies and terms of service
  • •You acknowledge FlashApps and attribute us appropriately
  • •You are solely responsible for your application's content and functionality

7. Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance

FlashApps complies with all applicable data protection regulations including GDPR. As a developer, you agree to handle user data responsibly and in compliance with all applicable privacy laws. You must provide clear privacy policies to your users and obtain necessary consents for data processing.

8. License Grant

FlashApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FlashApps services for development purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, or transfer this license to third parties without written permission.

9. Support and Service Level Agreements

Support availability depends on your subscription tier:

  • •Free tier: Community support via email
  • •Professional tier: Priority support with defined response times
  • •Enterprise tier: Dedicated support and custom SLAs

10. Monitoring and Enforcement

FlashApps reserves the right to monitor API usage and applications built with our services. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this agreement. We may also collect anonymized metrics and analytics about API usage for service improvement purposes.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

FlashApps may suspend or terminate your developer account if you:

  • •Violate this agreement or our acceptable use policies
  • •Engage in illegal activities or abuse
  • •Have outstanding payment obligations
  • •Pose a security risk to our services or other users

12. Intellectual Property

Your Applications: You retain all rights to applications you develop using FlashApps services. You grant FlashApps a limited license to use your application for testing and demonstration purposes only (if applicable).

FlashApps Services: All tools, libraries, SDKs, and services provided by FlashApps remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

13. Disclaimers

FlashApps services are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or specific results. We are not liable for any damages resulting from use or inability to use our services.
